They consider Jeju Island "the Hawaii of Asia" and one of the seven new wonders of nature.

The columnar rocks of Jusangjeolli are the most unique lava formations I've ever seen, and I've been to Maui! Each column has a roughly hexagonal shape when viewed from the top.

Under the dictatorship of my cheapass Chinese mom, I was often forsaken basic necessities like shoes. But I had an Oilers T-shirt when I was a toddler--that I proceeded to wear until just yesterday. Me publicly posting these photos is me powerfully co-opting my own sensuality for my own purposes. And my purpose is to be myself. This YouTube channel is about me and the things I love: music, dance, self-expression, world travel, experiential travel, the environment, extreme sports, animals ... I also happen to love myself and love lingerie (yes, virgins can love lingerie), so this video expresses just that.

Of course, any appreciation still flatters me, so appreciate away.

The only situation I condone makeup is if it's a tool for self-expression or artistic expression, instead of being a mask that covers the real face you're ashamed of (that you should actually be proud of). I'd like to think I'm entertaining AND educational. When I look and sound factual, that's because I'm communicating a thoroughly researched FACT. But you try to research the Hassan II Mosque! The most trumpeted "fact" about the mosque--that it's the second "largest" in the world-- is widely disputed. As the owner of a technical/marketing writing business, I know the exact problem: How are these "evaluators" defining the word large? By square footage? By worshiper capacity? By minaret height?

We do know, however, through this video, that the mosque is the largest, most imposing structure on the Casablancan skyline.

By the way, sandboarding on specially designed sandboards, which are completely different from snowboards, is a REAL sport in the Middle East and Australia. The promoter of this desert safari tricked me into thinking I'd be actually SANDBOARDING. Instead, he just had a bunch of busted, broken snowboards on an almost level dune that'd had enough of being disrespected by snowboards.

The Embera entertain on instruments they handmade from local natural materials, an example of their traditional "live off the land" way of life.

The Embera here have embraced cotton fabric over their traditional palm fibers, but they still go topless (even women) and paint their faces and bodies black with jagua fruit. Although the black jagua is practical, with sunblocking properties, it's also an artistic expression, with some Embera modeling elaborate designs.
